I bought this dresser for $50 and was interested in knowing what type it is and maybe how old. It appears to have handcarved handles.

I was mainly interested in what type of dresser and about how old it is.

It is Victorian and dates from about the 1850s- 70s.

Those leaf pulls are typical of Victorian pieces.

I took a picture of how the handles are attched from inside the drawer. Thank you for all your help. Anyone have any idea what type of wood this is? I cleaned the wood but still cant tell with how dark it is.
