    Another Item from the cookie tin. Hawes Opera House pinback?? Have NO CLUE about it Bottom half maybe a Corkscrew image??
    2 1/4" long 1 1/4" wide.
    Anyone have a Clue??

      Hi stuff,
      The screw type item dangling on the chain is called a stage screw.
      It is understandable that it would be on a medal representing an opera house.
      Screws like the one on the pin were used on stage scenes so the sets could be moved and turned around to change the setting rapidly by the stage crew during intermission and between scenes.
      I have a pair of these screws and they are approx. 4" wide at the rings and about 3" tall. the ones that I have are made of iron.
