Hi All,
I resently picked up this interesting portrait - as you can see on the reverse it says "Siew Hock Meng"
There is, indeed, a well known artist called this name, from Singapore. Some of his work is in this style.
During this virus enforced lock down I thought I would spend some time investigating it....
First thing I need to do it at least know what language the partial-label is written in! - any one got any ideas ?

I was wondering if you can help me with a bit of a mystery. I found a vintage French poster with the translated saying, Yes, speak... but well.” The graphic features a yellow bird. While trying to gather any information about the poster, I came across your post, requesting information about the same poster. Do you happen to know anything about the artist? Thanks so much!!
