This looks like a head rest but may be some type of table. I am not sure if it is African or Asian? I am not sure of the wood.

What are its dimensions?
A head rest, - for sleeping (believe it or not). Used in certain areas to elevate the head.
It is 15 inches long and 10 inches wide.
