      What a fantastic creation! Tell us more about your ancestor. Do you have a picture of him? That would make a nice supplement to the post.
      Do you know anything about who made the glasses, such as: were they his specific design and made just for him, or were they made in quantities for sale to the general public?
      A very interesting and thought provoking post!
