Pr of Rhinestone Pierced Earrings

I have a pair of small pierced ear rhinestone earrings that measure about 3/4" high x 1/2" at the widest point. They have friction posts with barrel ear nuts. They are unmarked and the setting actually looks like rhodium. I was wondering when these may have been made - and were they originally clip-back earrings that have been converted or are they vintage pierced earrings? Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
