This is a nice running Waterbury clock I purchased from an estate. The owners said it was purchased in the late 1800s. My research led me to believe it was one of two models. Either the Bahia or the Para Rosewood. Both descriptions say they are 21 or 22 inches tall with a 10 inch face. No matter how you measure this one it is 19 inches tall with an eight inch face. The original paper is still attached inside but gives no clue to the model. It runs great and is very solid. I need some help to identify. Hours of looking has only left me more confused.

This may be an Anglo-American or figure 8 ionic style wall clock with a Waterbury Movement. It could also be an unlisted Waterbury Clock Case.

What does the label say? Can you post a photo of it?

The label of course is behind the pendulum. It is black and will not photograph well due to the fading of the print. If a light is held just right at an angle it has The Waterbury Clock Company in an arched or curve. At the bottom of label is the typical patent information. Somewhere I saw that label and it said it was 1891 or something to that effect. Could not see a model like on Bahia or Rosewood. Hope this helps.

That would indicate to me that the case is a Waterbury model but I can't find it in any of my references. It's a nice looking clock with an unusual pattern scrolled on the sides. Thanks for sharing it.
