Do you like the big brooches worn in the late 1930s? If so here's one to enjoy. A large swirl design from the 1930s. Unsigned, but well made. Surprisingly the gold-tone and stones are both in excellent condition. The large stones are prong set, the small ones are not. It measures 2 and 7/8" tall by 2 and 3/4" wide. A recent find from my 'favorite' thrift. Thanks for stopping by.

That’s it, I’m moving to your town! Lol!
I love this piece, wow, nearly 90 years old and looks like new!
Boy, Maureen, you sure can find them! So happy for you that there’s thrifts worth checking out in your area. Still closed where I live, and even though I never find anything, I do miss looking!
Eileen, that would be so fun! I would love to show you around. Right after the lock-down ended and things were slowly opening with social distancing, etc, I went to the thrift and the brooches and bracelets were just fabulous. I am looking forward to seeing the good stuff they hold out for their big fundraising sale in the fall, which is supposed to be their best offerings. Maybe you should come for that!
Ohhh, tempting, very tempting!
Really awesome find!

Hello dear,
Bugging you again to chime in to Peach938, she has a question on what she believes are shoe clips. Your knowledge far exceeds mine, and though I believe they are indeed shoe clips, your expertise would settle the question...thanks my friend :)
