Another treasure from my wife: This is a Raggedy Andy doll that her mother made her when my wife was a little girl. You can see that her mom even embroidered the "I Love You" heart underneath the doll's red-checkerboard top. It's about 22 inches from head to toe, with a wingspan of about 16 inches.

What a treasure to have ! I am sure she was well loved by your wife as a child too . Thank you for sharing her but I believe she is a boy Raggedy Andy since wearing pants :-) , Stay safe and Healthy ! One thing about these cloth dolls they can be whoever you want them to be . Love
Duh! I just relayed your response and she replied, correctly, "I told you it was Andy, he has pants on!" I am getting so old... ;-)
LOL it happens to all of us as me included so don't feel bad . I think there is nothing more special than a doll made with love by a mothers hands :-)
