Saunders Valves ashtray/trinket tray

Hi everyone and hope you're all coping with the bump and grind of Covid. I've two new Melamine ashtrays to share having just picked them up a few days ago. Big thanks to Al at 'Al's Emporium' here in my hometown of Halifax for reopening his brilliant shop again.
So here's the first. Made for Saunders Pumps, a large manufacturer of industrial equipment, that are still in existence, obviously promoting their diaphragm pump line, one of the many types of pumps they create.
Although my poor photograph doesn't show it, it's a nice maroon-ish type colour and the base is marked 'Praesidium Ornamin Melamine, made in UK'
I can't date it and a Google image search drew a blank. Anyway, it's a nice quirky piece and well worth its place in my collection.
