I wanted to see my glass necklaces better in order to enjoy them and to make it easy to pick one in the morning to go with the outfit for the day. Put up a hanger on the well next to my bed. Simple but I like the way it turned out. It is easy to mix, match and see color and lenght. More delicate or expensive necklaces I wouldn't hang like this but with these necklaces I have decided it is ok.

When I travel - not at all for the moment - I always bring several necklaces with me. Bought an antique tablecloth that had a hole and out of the fabric I made these small bags to keep my necklaces in. Added old lace. They work well for keeping necklaces in my bag. I think they got the right old fashioned romantic look, don't you think? The rest of the fabric became some nice pillowcases for my veranda sofa. Will post more soon today.

Very creative Elisabeth, your gorgeous necklaces look lovely on the wall hanger! That antique lace is SO beautiful & made wonderful carry bags. Happy travels whenever you can go :)

Ha ha Ms.ChrystalShip you made me realize I also had that as a child. The wall hanger was a yellow butterfly and it was filled with necklaces that I had made and I stinktly remeber a pritty cool Aarikka necklace that would have been nice to wear now... :)

      Thanks Valentino:)
I love to reuse and to make new things out old stuff. In this case I wanted the right historic feeling :)
