An older gentleman at the flea I go to said this doll is from the 40s and soldiers brought them home
. No maker label just the made in japan on the case. I took the best photos I could.

Can anyone tell me the possible age. The base she is attached to is wood glued to black plastic so I am thinking she is new that was the man said.

    Grateful for input

Relatively new as it has a lot of plastic, hair ornament, etc. It appears that the body is plastic as well. I'd estimate 70's upward. I saw a lot of these for sale in the 60's when I was stationed at various bases in Japan. No plastic was used then.
