SEARS "Tradition" blue display digital alarm clock

Here's another kinda oldish digital clock (1970's?) featuring a blue display. Somehow I've always been fond of the blue ones, which probably came out around the same time (slightly before) the now ubiquitous red digit ones, the blue somehow didn't catch on (or didn't last, or whatever?) until somewhat later IIRC, for another decade or more when 'blue digits/LED's' again became trendy on home electronics.

It features its "SIMULATED WOOD" plastic housing, also what was probably a rather hi-tech-ish thing then -- its snooze and alarm buttons are actually just little metal 'touchpads' that don't move when pushed. Surely that was a novelty then...?? :-) :-)
