    Narrow table, 26" long, 12" deep, 28" tall. Wondering what the age/style is and what the use would have been. The bottom part seems like a bookshelf. The label underneath has writing worn off. Any identifying help would be appreciated. The carving in the center reminds me of an acorn.

      Nice and in good shape.

      This looks to be a mid 20th century take on earlier styles.

      I wouldn't expect the magazine rack on an earlier (antique) piece.

      Thanks Scottvez-- that is very useful and makes sense as I did google search for similar antique pieces and never saw the magazine rack.
