    This piece is a mystery to me. It looks like a 1940s Fenton overlay case but it's got a pontil mark on the bottom as well as all 4 sides on the bottom edges around the vase? It has a beautiful iridescent shimmer to it as well. Any ideas who made it? I'd love to know the history of it. Thank you

      yes, Fenton amber cased or honey cased. this shape was made in various colors and also sold thru QVC as recent at 2005 or so; can be found online with Fenton labels. that's not a pontil scar just a waviness in the glass.
