Posted this item again because I have a better photograph of the bottom of the inside of this vessel. A little damp washcloth unveiled this scene. I also have records of the person who originally owned it. It may have been acquired at the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Still think it may be an urn or wine vessel? If anyone has information they’d like to share it’ll be welcome. I’ve been trying to crack this mystery for over a year now.
