I got this from my aunt, and no one knows what it is. Maybe copper or brass? I did a image Google search and nothing like it came up. A few guys in the family guess it has to do the cars. Anyone know?

Kinda looks like it could be a pump up sprayer or mister device, for bug spray or something? Does it have a peculiar aroma inside?

My opinion was a device for the garden, but others argued w/ me it was for auto mechanics. I can't detect anything but a metal smell.

I believe you are correct. Although it can easily be used in the garage for cleaning..maybe even a small fire extinguisher?..and many other uses..

Here's a few examples I found that are similar..

Thanks for the info and the help. I can now declare I'm the winner to the family. (just kidding). My dad argued it was copper and I said there was not a chance...had to be brass. This was a big debate yesterday over this mysterious can.
