It may be too small for a teapot at only 2 inches high and 4.5 inches across - including handle and spout. It's very delicate. i'm used to big, heavy pieces by GMB, but they also made very high quality delicate pieces like this too. Maybe it's a creamer? doesn't appear to have had a top.
