Wine Cork Duck Art - "FLY"
Happy Hour Owls had posted a wine Cork collection. I mentioned my Cork Art and promised to show some. I had forgot about this one. It's been part of my garage art.
Not a fancy piece, but was fun. Was experimenting with some ideas I had...a proof of theory piece more than anything.
FLY - Inspired by migrating ducks flying through the clouds. It's an interactive piece..if you have a slight breeze or if you touch it, it will wobble like they're flying. Letters at base are old keyboard letters.

Forgot..An explanation...I realized that I didn't explain my piece...
The center duck has 1 wire that goes into the base, then comes back up, wraps around several times(creating a spring), then forms the clouds or lily pads(whatever you decide).
Then the 2 outside ducks are connected with one wire, creating a counter balance AND have ability to move independent of the center duck. BUT this force creates the center duck to wobble at different rates from the outside ducks, creating an illusion of flight. Additionally all 3 ducks are at different levels with the center duck ...like the V or front of a flock.
