Picked up something interesting and practical and something I needed. This of course a metal hardware cabinet. Like everyone else I have lots of small nails, screws and other such hardware. In my case many cup hooks and picture hangers but mostly cup hooks. I had no idea I had that many cup hooks. I use them for hanging various objects like lanterns from the ceiling Now on with some specifics.
It has 4 drawers with 3 different configurations. Two of them have 6 compartments, One has 3 and the other a single for larger items. The color is a sort of mottled green metallic color. I would take a guestimate from the 1950s or 60s. They get more plain after that. Now they are plastic.
This fine little cabinet will be sitting on my kitchen counter despite some rust. Oddly that is where I keep my tools as I have plenty of cabinet space.
Coming up next will probably be a GI Joe of sort as I have 7 of those in the que to be posted.
