Sadly some kid in the long ago painted the original pink color with red. That happens with kids as they do stuff like that for fun.
This is an otherwise rare model with a blue base and silver plastic wheels (SPW in Matchbox lingo). That would be from 1960 according to my sources. But is still such a cool looking model based on a very cool car it still has its uses. I could put it on a car carrier or some such.
And last week's featured model is making a guest appearance. Last week it was missing a wheel which I kept hidden but I found the tire/wheel and so here it is.
