What I could find:
This is an 'Ivory Dynasty' plate made in Taiwan by Arnart Import Inc. This piece is made of a resin mix. Because of the "Endangered Species Act of 1973" crafters started finding an alternative to ivory. The manufacturer has used a resin mix over a brass form to create these wonderful pieces. The look and feel of these says ivory, but you will know that NO animals were harmed in the creation of these pieces.
