    <BZZZZZZZZZT> . . . ;-) :-) ;-)

    It lights up with a purplish light, that attracts flying bugs toward it, but there's an electrified grid in there too...the <BZZZT> sound is just a pop for a small bug, but a wasp or something larger will take a little longer to thoroughly fry... (including a brief sparky light show if you happen to be glancing at it at the moment)

    This particular one probably dates from the 1990's, there's a label inside its top but I can't quite see it thru the plastic outer cage.

      We had one of these….I could hear the zaps from inside my bedroom. I felt guilty.

      Looks like the one we had at the farm, and I think that was in the 1980's as it was something new - To fry bugs with - lol
