Saccharin

Raise your hand if you remember your mother dropping these little white pills into your pitcher of Kool-Aid during the 1960s. I recall well. And we survived! And this bottle still survives as well, in a cupboard. And as sick as this sounds now, I remember the experience of dipping a slice of bread into a glass of Lime Kool-Aid at lunchtime and sucking up the liquid before running back outside to play. Ahhh, the 60's life as a kid in the country.
