    I was helping a friend move and he sold me some COOL stuff.
    This was the oldest of the lanterns. It is hard to read the bottom of the fuel tank where details are
    It is Coleman from Witchita KAN stamped LQ with no date or model number I could find. From internet research this could be from the 1920's. Trying to l;earn more about itl

      I love how the holes are used to spell out the Coleman name in this beauty. I see too many a nice lamp spoilt with heavy coats of silver paint on it. Luckily no one has ruined this gorgeous piece !~

      Well this Old lantern has been getting me an education
      Met some folks on the COLEMAN COLLECTOR FORUM ( CCF )
      Very helpful and friendly
      It seems this is a 427 MODEL and date is 35 ( 1935 ) Later production than what I thought.
