Taxidermy Tuesday Lynx or Bobcat or Something Like That Pelt But Probably a Coyote

I picked this up a bit ago but just today got it out. I thought it was a coyote pelt of which I have a few. But I bought it as it is on a felt base so I thought I would use it as a rug. But when I looked at it today I noticed the short face which is a cat thing. Also the short tail, no it is not broken off. Also the ears are more rounded and shorter than a fox or coyote. The pelt is 3 feet long not counting the tail. Best not to hug and squeeze one when encountered in the wild. A do not rub the belly.
Which reminds me I have a seashell or two and a fish to post.
