Trying to identify this item. I found this in a old houses kitchen drawer. I have been unable to locate any similar items. Please help

But O kitchen magician tell us what can it be ?
My guess it's a corer/slicer..stick an apple under it..mom had something similar. Or could be part if a corer like this machine..

I see now looking closed at the first picture..the little adjustment knob has what looks like a peel slicer blade on it. So maybe peeling and coring
Maybe Pineapple?
But is impossible with this device ,,,sorry
