Vintage child’s rocking chair with cane seat. I purchased it 20+ years ago at an antique shop. It’s a bit of a mystery to me who made it? I thought possibly eastlake or Sibley but haven’t been able to find the same chair. It’s a very solidly built chair and there are no visible nails or screws. I think this is the original color.
A lot of furniture makers did their own spin on a number of chairs that did not fit in any style category and I believe this is one of those !~
Yes you could be right , i've been checking for years and I've never seen one the same
