Antique French art nouveau bronze, jardinière, possibly 1920s. Cast-iron liner. I rescued this piece from an outdoor junk pile at a yard sale 15 years ago.( found some of my best treasures in junk piles ) it has a quite extensive Verdigris patina, which I rather like. Maybe the experts could tell me if this will harm the piece and should I clean it or can I leave it as is?

It's beautiful! I love the very ornate design!! You may try to very lightly clean it and bronze it give it a coat of transparent bronze wax, a staple in my shop. That's what I do with any antique or vintage bronze pieces. Just a suggestion.
