Hello everyone!!
Another of my recent finds are these horse head hitching post andirons. They're cast iron with brass rings. These are from the mid 20th century. I love design of these andirons and the brass rings are a nice touch. You'll notice in pic #4 that these horse heads combine together to make a complete horse head. These measure 12 1/2" tall and 18" long with shanks attached.

Thank you!! We love horses as well. We’re very fortunate that one of my sisters and her husband manage a stud farm In Versailles, Ky and my son’s gf manages a horse therapy center at the horse park in Lexington, Ky. So, we get to see a lot of horses, along with past Kentucky Derby winners and those are the rock stars of horses:)
