This is a very attractive & interesting vase I picked up in a local op shop today!
It is made from what looks like three layers of cased glass, with a fine, slightly swirled spatter. The vase shades from orange on the base to lighter yellow - orange towards the top. The spatter is a deep blue, but appears greenish in the photos. It is as if some visual colour mixing is going on due to the blend of blue & yellow - orange. Interior is pale yellow.
The vase measures 23.5 cm tall, 5.4 cm across the top rim (fire polished) & 5.5 cm across the base (no pontil mark).
There is a tiny "kink" in the top rim, likely from a tool used in the manufacturing process. Interestingly, I have another vase with this same kind of minor indentation.
Now, I think this may possibly be of Czech origin circa 1930s.

Outstanding spatter vase! Great find!
Much appreciated, Scott!
