Iron Pyrite It's Fool's Gold or Then Again It Is Real Gold

The first two photos are of a piece of iron pyrite (fools gold)I bought at the Natural History Museum of the County of Los Angeles. I may have the order of the words wrong in the name of the museum, NHM seems to be close enough. Also inside the museum in the Hall of Gems and Minerals there is a large amount of real gold a small portion of which is shown here. The fossil collection is probably worth more but not as much per pound.
