Well done.
yep I get this all the time when looking at "all activity" and can take 6 goes for it to work, sometimes if I click on a spot that doesn't have a link and then click on the one I want to see it works.
Seems to always work first time on "latest posts".
Probably has something to do with what seems to be a lack of people looking at items.
Seems to me that the site is most about running advertisements, we're just enticements.
All Activity doesn't work. Latest Items does work.
They are out on the longest lunch ever.
it's kinda sad, this was a good site and WAS easy to use...

If it is not easy to use the site will fail. Loading pix is the current issue and the cause of multiple posts.
Problem probably is that this is deceptively sophisticated, complexly coded site the code for is probably 15-20 years old, so the current support staff has zero clues as to how to support it. Made even more problematic if the creator did not document it, or that documentation has not survived. Probably would have reverse engineer to figure out how to fix simple problems. Does not inspire confidence in the competence of Barnabys or their technical support staff.
Me too, sick to death with it, really gone to the dogs, such!!.. a shame it was wonderful place to share and enjoy everyone’s ‘stuff’..I hardly come here any more because of the way it has gone..well done for saying something, I have written a couple of times to ask what was going on..
inky:

Have you gotten any response at all? I haven't on my last several inquiries. My impression is that CW S&T is a ghost ship. :-(
Here's a possible workaround for the "bad fatal error":

keramikos…so! sorry for the late reply but as CW now doesn’t send me any comments, which I find b^*#@y annoying……not a peep from them, in one message I actually asked if anyone cared the way everything was going and that a lot of long termers where leaving..obviously not!..
Hi Penny, left you a message on your last post - Jenni :))
I’ve sent them several emails and haven’t responded to me either. I don’t get email notifications anymore when someone leaves a comment on my posts or when someone posts new items.
Trey:
"I’ve sent them several emails and haven’t responded to me either."
I myself sent them some very specific requests: there were two vintage sewing machine posts that had been created by the respective OPs without assigning any category, so they were 'orphans.'
I got bupkes for a response.
We are on our own, and anybody who cares about content might want to consider making some archives of posts (I finally decided that archive.is worked better than archive.org for me):

FYI, it doesn't necessarily have to be your own posts. Some of the posts that I've created archives of were not mine, but to which I'd contributed, and the information in them was hard-won.
