Found this in an op shop on a trip to Sydney yesterday. Paperweights were where it all started for me in glass, aged 8 years.
I have a reasonable selection of them now, & like the one that first inspired my passion, my preference is always for millefiori.
This one caught my eye for being something different - it's really cool.
It is a scrambled type of millefiori, with a dark green aventurine ground (that really sealed it for me).
Signed underneath Stonor - signature of M B (Bernard) Stonor, an Australian glass artist.
Not sure of era but maybe 1980s - 1990s.
