My aunt surprised me with these last weekend. They are pillow tops sent to my grandmother by my dad from Camp Campbell Ky., one of the camps he trained in during WWII. I never knew they existed until last week! Going to have them mounted soon!! Thanks for lookin!! Rob

I imagine these were also given as gifts from even jewelry stores just after the 2nd ww up to the sixties when they even made some in the same style in Beatle ware and for the coronation of Queen Elisabeth in 1953.
