I think for glass collectors (& perhaps others too) there is a phenomenon wherein you find an item in a decor you've never seen before & then all of a sudden another pops up soon afterwards. It's happened to me enough times to feel like I can call it a phenomenon, anyway!
This little mustard pot is undeniably cute, for one thing - only 8 cm high & 3 cm across the base. But it also has the same attractive lemon/lime with orange streaked iridescent decor as a small vase I purchased less than 2 weeks ago.
It turned up as a cheap buy it now on eBay AU & I was on it right away.
The hinged lid is silver plate, marked simply EPNS.
Most likely Bohemian origin, circa late 19th/early 20th century.
Who made these charming tableware items? I have several now, all in variations of streaked/striped iridescent glass in pastel tones.
