Victorian mauve opaline glass squat vase with enamel floral decoration

Here's charming piece of Victorian era opaline glass in a very rare & attractive shade of mauve. I must admit I've been super keen to find an example of mauve opaline glass for a while now, so when this popped up on eBay AU I was onto it right away.
It is made from a single layer of mauve glass with a chain of floral enamel decoration & gilded accents. The glass shows intense opalescent "fire" when held up to the light. There is also a small marking on the base which could be either a number 3 or a stylised letter J. The vase measures 10 cm tall & 9 cm wide.
