The battle of Midway was a major naval battle of World War Two between 6/4-7/42 at Midway Atoll in the Pacific. First picture is a painting of the battle by RG Smith

That's the second USS Enterprise, the WW2 vintage one was a Yorktown class with the one flight deck.
