Hello everyone!!
I haven't posted a cast iron dog in a while. So, here's a cast iron Staffordshire terrier I bought back in the Spring of this year. These are rather difficult to come by, so I didn't want to pass this one up. He's a two piece casting held together with two small bolts. I've managed to collect six of these over the years and pic #4 shows all six of these in a row.
Though some folks believe these to be rare antique, they are not. Perhaps rare, but far from antique. These were made here in the USA sometime during the 1970's. They're quite large and heavy. They each measure 15 1/2" long, 10 1/2" tall and each weighs in at 18lbs.
