Hello everyone!!
You've seen several sets of these bookends that I've posted over the years. I came across this set earlier this year and finally getting around to posting them. These are cast iron and were made in the early 1900's. They are numbered 101 and 102. I have three other sets of these and they are all by an unknown manufacturer. They are very reminiscent of the famous artist Maxfield Parrish's painting titled "The Little Peach".
These are 100% original and have suffered minimal paint loss over the past 120+ years, but still in remarkable condition. They each measure 5 1/4” tall and 6 1/2” tall. These weigh approximately 3lbs each.
Thanks very much for taking the time to stop in for a look!!
