This was a massive half track that as the name implies, weighs 8 tons. It was often used to tow the 88mm anti-tank gun and its crew. Oddly enough it takes much fewer crewmen to mount the gun on the vehicle. What would go well with this is a full load of passengers but there does not seem be a set. I do have the 88mm gun although it is in Afrika Korps yellow. But then not rvrty piece of equipment may not have been color coordinated.
Has an Indiana Jones vibe going I think.

That is one humongous vehicle, good one fort
A most excellent troop carrier!!
Not seen one like that before. Looks impressive.
Fun fact - The first half track was invented in Russia for the Tzar so he could get around in the snow. It had skis on the front and the halftrack on the back.
Thank you very much Newfld. It does seem to be large.
Thank you very much Scott!
Thank you very much elanski. That is indeed a fun fact. He should have used it to take a trip west.
