Here is a 5"H lavender ice/neodymium glass elephant with curved raised trunk, designed by glass artist Royal Hickman in the mid-1940s as Large Elephant #1 for Heisey Glass. Reissued by Dalzell Viking for the Heisey Collectors of America in 1993, raised HCA 93 imprint can be seen on lower body between the elephant's legs. Isn't she lovely with her lavender ice/neodymium color! Good luck piece. The value is over the top crazy!
Very spectacular glass elephant Jenni!! What a treasure to have.
Really grateful for the kind love everybody, thanks so much
DejaVu, the trunk up is a very good sign with a glass elephant, and this one has that pretty bluish neodymium cast. This is one Heisey designed elephant I had missed and was lucky to find at a reasonable (still high tho) price. Very heavyweight glass, probably leaded. Thanks for your super comment
Scott, he is a very fine Heisey elephant specimen, any of their Royal Hickman designs are so elegant and special. This is definitely one I treasure and will be keeping. Thank you for your great comment
Dave thanks so much for the love for all my posts this week, very kind of you to think of me & I'm totally grateful
