Oriental Area Rug
This post is for Aly. She showed a rug she recently aquired. Not saying this is where your rug originated! But they were very popular in the 80s.
This is one my parents bought some time in the 1980s. It still sits under the dining room table. This thing is huge!

We had a table similar to that, and even with the extra leaves, sometimes we'd still have to set up a separate kiddy table.
