Vintage 1960’s Italian Marble & Onyx Clobbering Time Ashtrays

You can’t make this stuff up.In the 1970’s my parents owned the Castaway Lounge in Toledo Ohio.This fine establishment was a blue collar bar who’s patrons favorite pastime was bar room brawls.My father got tired of replacing pool sticks so he bought metal ones and windows he boarded up.Ashtrays were a different problem so he bought boxes of the old 1960’s Viking heavy glass ashtrays and several Italian marble and smaller onyx ashtrays that I’ve shown.These ashtrays were highly resistant to being thrown at people by people who usually missed.All he had to do then was fix the holes in the walls these things made.Thanks for looking.
