Savoyard terre vernissée jaspée pot à conserve

I've had this little jar kicking around a long time. I have no idea where i picked it up, but I was looking at it today and think it's a pretty little piece of 19th c French country pottery. A canning jar covered inside/out with a white slip and then marble decorated outside with a manganese brown, green and a very nice turquoise color. Green slip decorated rim and a terracotta base. From Savoie in Southern France - where my Dads' ancestors come from.
