This watch was given to me out of the blue by a family member. I cannot figure out how to get the back off to check it out further.
I am going to take it to a clock repair shop, to see if they can give me more information. It doesn't seem to be running currently, but it has been sitting in a drawer for a long time.
It belonged to a person named, Patrick Bernard Trant, who was born in 1909. Apparently, it belonged to his father who was born in Kerry, Ireland in 1874 and died in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The third photo is Patrick Bernard Trant. He is not blood related to me.

Vinyl,
Thank you for your love. I had to delete one of these because two showed up on my posts.
Back should unscrew. Probably stuck.
twist back counterclockwise, or pry open seam
Beautiful antique pocket watch, what a lovely family heirloom
