Loetz late period "Chine" vase with multicolored threads, ca. 1930

This is a later version of Loetz's "Chine" decor, with randomly wound glass threads against a colorless ribbed body. Unlike the typically solid colored threads of the earlier versions, this one is wound with ribbons of amethyst, dark blue, and creta green. The details must be seen up close to truly be appreciated. Stands 21.5 cm tall.
