Ever since Scandinavian posted her Lisa Larson lions I have been on the hunt. Snuck into a thrift today, between customer calls and there he was.
To be honest, this little guy is not what I wanted LLwise. I want a lion, but what a good start. The bottom says: Gustavsberg Sweden.
I am still looking for a reference on what type of dog this is...

It is a pekingese according to Worthpoint. Says it sold on Ebay for 75.00. I've been on the lookout for the fox and owl, but now this one is offically added to my list! I have two pekes, so seems like a natural. Great find!!

Thriftfan: I am neutral on this piece except that it is my first L Larson! My hubby is not a fan. My seven year old loves it. I really appreciate the info and the ID. I thought, and googled, pug.

Scandinavian, I know! Been on the hunt for ages. Couldn't believe what I was seeing when I walked up to the shelves. (under two bucks as well!) Going to try and swing by again today, just in case someone got rid of their collection of hundreds...well a girl can dream. Thanks for the picture and the fun treasure hunt!

I did go back but no lovely LL to be found. I did find something else pretty cool so take look at my new item. You know I have to go back tomorrow. Lucky for me my day will put me right by that particular thrift! Stay tuned!

Love the idea of the trade. Completely understand the thrill of the hunt, so with you on that. Heck I rarely go to anything but a thrift to make it even more wild. Peky isn't going anywhere for a while.

Yep, the curled up one is just wonderful! I'll have to keep a look out for the dove too :) Funny, but I spend so much time on here that I now see things and think "wow ______ would like that!"
