anyone have any ideas about who may have made it? the pictures have not picked up how shimmery the colors are. I have not been able to find anything like it.

looks like a very nice Portmeirion pearlescent glass bowl tho' not sure who may have actually produced the glass for them. It's always nice to see a profile image and indicate the size.
