    Here is a grouping of P-38 airplanes that have been assembled from salvaged bullets and shells.

    This was a very popular Pacific Theater form based on surviving examples.

    Interestingly, these show variances in size, attachment technique and base shell.

      Thanks Mich-- they come in many different sizes. My favorites are the smaller P-38s.

      Generally, I more of a fan of the "bullet planes", but I do have several cast aluminum and cast brass examples.
